One of a series of photos taken on March 20th when there was an especial quality to the light; the sun was near to setting and its rays made a special effect under the black clouds of the recent snowstorm.
I've put in two very similar photos because I couldn't decide which one was best! Conventionally I think the one with the two full foreground trees is 'better', but I prefer this one myself!
