I've added some photos from the Paddle Steamer 'Waverley' that I took in October when the boat visited London.

One of the fascinations of Waverley for me is its engine room where a huge compound steam engines provides the power for the paddle shaft. Consequently the photos are primarily of the engine room. The Waverley engine room isn't a very easy subject, but I hope it will provide some interesting view of how ships used to be.

I spent a few days around Lulworth Cove recently, and visited a number of places in Dorset and Wiltshire. I am gradually adding photos from my visit. Images that have been particularly popular are those of Gold Hill Shaftesbury and Salisbury Cathedral.

I'm adding photos of the Blenheim grounds from 2008. Although 2008 has proved to be a very wet year in England there have been some very spectacular cloud scenes which have, I think, led to some exceptional images from Blenheim.
